Wellbeing Everywhere

Because thriving people create thriving organisations

Wellbeing isn’t a “nice-to-have” — it’s essential.
And no, a pool table in the break room or a Friday team lunch won’t fix burnout.

The truth? Most workplaces, universities, schools, and teams don’t have the knowledge, skills, or systems to spot and respond to early signs of mental distress. HR teams may not be equipped with all the tools they need for difficult cases. Teachers are generally not trained to do it. Managers are almost never trained to do it. And yet, mental health challenges affect everyone, everywhere.

Why this matters

  • 1 in 4 people experience a mental health problem each year (WHO)

  • 50% of long-term absence from work is due to stress, anxiety, or depression (EU-OSHA)

  • In schools, 78% of teachers report work-related stress, with burnout rates rising yearly

  • Untreated mental health issues cost the global economy $1 trillion annually in lost productivity (WHO)

The cost of doing nothing is too high — for individuals, for organisations, and for society.

Our belief

We believe every organisation should be a place where people can think clearly, communicate openly, and stay well, even when the work is demanding.

Practical tools, everyday habits, and grounded leadership make this possible.

Skills for spotting and supporting mental health

We train people to notice the signs — in themselves and in others — before problems escalate.

  • Self-awareness tools to recognise your own stress or burnout signals

  • Practical techniques to support colleagues, students, or team members

  • How to respond safely and compassionately when someone is struggling

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training

We can train one person, a whole team, or your entire organisation to become Mental Health First Aiders — the go-to people for spotting, listening, and guiding others towards help.

Communicating With Impact

Clear, confident communication transforms how teams work — reducing friction, building trust, and supporting wellbeing. We help leaders and teams communicate so people feel informed, aligned and valued, even in high-pressure environments.

Who we work with

At Leladijo, we partner with organisations where the stakes are high: leaders balancing competing priorities, teams under pressure, and environments that move fast.

Our work strengthens the foundations that matter most: clear communication, practical leadership, and ways of working that help people stay focused, effective, and well.

Organisations

Clear communication. Strong leadership. Teams that perform under pressure.

Whether you’re a corporate team, consulting firm, association, nonprofit, or government unit, you need your people to collaborate smoothly, make decisions quickly, and communicate with impact.

We support organisations to:

  • strengthen leadership communication, influencing, and storytelling

  • reduce friction caused by unclear expectations, misalignment, or overload

  • build team habits that reduce stress and boost performance

  • manage high-pressure cycles with more calm and clarity

From C-level communication skills to team-wide performance habits, we bring a blend of strategic insight, coaching expertise, and real-world practicality.

Universities

Where complex environments demand clear communication and confident leadership.

Universities juggle competing priorities: heavy academic workloads, student wellbeing demands, cross-faculty coordination, and constant change.

We help academic and professional teams to:

  • communicate more clearly across roles, faculties, and functions

  • handle difficult conversations with confidence

  • manage high-pressure periods without losing focus

  • support staff and students through demanding cycles

The result: clearer collaboration, stronger leadership, and teams who can sustain high-quality work over time.

Event Teams

Where pressure is real, timelines are tight, and communication makes or breaks the outcome.

Events bring together designers, planners, venues, suppliers, AV crews, volunteers, and leadership, often in high-stress, fast-changing environments.

We are one of the few consultancies specialising in communication and wellbeing specifically for the events sector.

We help event teams to:

  • communicate clearly in high-pressure, time-sensitive situations

  • prevent overwhelm during build-up, onsite delivery, and debrief phases

  • manage last-minute changes with more calm and coordination

  • develop team habits that support resilience and reduce burnout

Through our Event Mental Wellbeing framework and EMW Practitioner Training, we’ve trained teams to deliver outstanding events without sacrificing their health or performance.

About Us

  • Wellbeing Consultant & Founder – Leladijo Consulting

Johanna Roodt is a Certified Coach with the Association for Coaching, a CPD-certified trainer, and a recognised leader in mental wellbeing, leadership development, and team culture. She brings over 15 years of global experience across events, education, and organisational leadership — helping people and teams thrive in high-pressure environments.

As the creator of the first CPD-certified Mental Wellbeing Certification for Event Professionals, Johanna equips venues, agencies, teams, and freelancers with practical, low- or no-budget strategies to ensure both attendees and staff leave events feeling energised, not exhausted. Her mission is simple but powerful: to embed wellbeing into the design of every room, meeting, and team.

In her role as Head of Engagement, Communications, and Events at the European Association of Research Managers & Administrators (EARMA), Johanna has played an active role in driving exceptional organisational growth — expanding the team from 5 to 17 people, restructuring operations, and scaling the flagship conference to over 2,200 participants. She has also increased sponsorship income by 600% in four years, introduced inclusive event formats, and fostered a culture of care and collaboration.

A former school wellbeing representative, teacher, and yoga business owner, Johanna is a Certified Mental Health First Aider and Instructor. She consults with companies, schools, associations, and sports clubs to strengthen team dynamics, improve communication, and build environments where people feel valued and supported.

Johanna also shares her expertise widely — as a mentor through EU initiatives, Elevate, and BEFuture; as founder of the Event Managers Exchange peer group; and as a speaker at leading industry events including IMEX, ICCA, and PCMA EMEA.

Whether she’s delivering a high-impact workshop, coaching a leadership team, or advising on event strategy, Johanna combines deep industry insight with a people-first approach, ensuring every engagement leaves a lasting, positive impact.
