ORGANISATIONAL CONSULTING

Make sense of the problem. Decide what comes next.

Some challenges need a closer look at how the organisation works: its priorities, processes and responsibilities.

We bring an outside perspective and a structured approach to help you understand what is getting in the way and agree a practical course of action.

Where we can help

Clarifying the problem

Separate the symptoms from the underlying questions. We work with the people involved to understand the situation, test assumptions and define what needs attention.

Setting priorities

Bring structure to competing demands. We help you consider the options, make trade-offs and agree where to focus your time and resources.

Improving ways of working

Examine the processes, handovers and responsibilities that support delivery. Together, we identify practical changes and consider how to make them work in your organisation.

What an assignment could look like

A clearer basis for a decision

Bring together research, data and stakeholder perspectives to assess a market, opportunity or strategic question. The output could be an evidence review, a comparison of options and a decision paper setting out the implications.

A process that works in practice

Map how work moves between people, identify repeated delays or unclear handovers and agree improvements. Useful outputs might include a process map, clearer responsibilities and a prioritised action plan with named owners.

A stronger research or knowledge function

Review how a specialist team sets priorities, responds to requests and shares its expertise. We can help define the team’s role, organise its work and improve how knowledge reaches the people who need it.

A learning programme people can use

Turn expertise into a structured learning experience. We can support learning objectives, course structure, participant materials, exercises and assessment, including online learning. This work connects organisational needs with the skills people need to develop.

A focused piece of work, with a clear purpose.

We start by discussing the decision or challenge you face. Before work begins, we agree the scope, who needs to be involved and what you need from the assignment.

The work may involve analysis, interviews or facilitated working sessions. The approach follows the question, with recommendations grounded in your organisation’s circumstances.

Experience behind the approach

Diederick brings nearly a decade of experience at McKinsey, including leading a global materials research team of more than 40 people and developing market intelligence for the mining and materials sector. Earlier work in mining included operational improvement, process mapping and lean working practices.

That experience predates Leladijo and informs our approach today. Within Leladijo, our work also includes developing the learning structure, exercises and assessment for the Event Mental Wellbeing online course. We draw on our wider network where additional expertise is needed.
